Description
The Sawara cypress 'Sungold' (Chamaecyparis pisifera) is a small shrub that grows cushion-shaped and usually reaches a height of around 1 metre and a width of around 1.5 metres. Its scale-like leaves are golden yellow in colour. This shrub is well tolerant of frost and prefers well-drained, humus-rich soil in a sunny to semi-shady position.
