Description
The Dwarf fan palm (Chamaerops humilis) is a very popular evergreen container plant. The grey-green leaves are deeply slit. The location should be as sunny as possible. A well-drained, loose, sandy and loamy soil is ideal. Under favourable conditions, the Dwarf fan palm reaches a height of approx. 3 m and grows up to 1.2 m wide.

Frost hardiness
Winter protection is required in unprotected areas of the garden. Potted plants are best overwintered in a frost-free, bright place.
