Description
The Greater celandine (Chelidonium majus) is a rhizome-forming perennial that produces yellow, wheel-shaped flowers from May to October. Its egg-shaped, bent leaves are grey-green. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1 m and grows to a width of approx. 60 cm. The Greater celandine is well tolerant of frost.
