Description
The Chinese Fringe Tree 'China Snow' (Chionanthus retusus) is an upright, roundish small tree that produces white flowers arranged in panicles. They appear from June to July. These produce dark blue, oval fruits. The Chinese Fringe Tree 'China Snow' also has egg-shaped, dark green leaves. Its bark is grey and scaly. In a sunny to semi-shady, wind-protected location with well-drained, sandy, loamy soil, it usually reaches a height of around 9 metres and grows to a width of around 9 metres.
