Description
With its copper-brown leaf colouring, the Red Tussock Grass (Chionochloa rubra) is a decorative design element in the garden, which also stands out with its clump-forming growth. The creamy white flower panicles adorn this grass from summer onwards. It feels most at home in a sunny to semi-shady location with the loosest possible soil. In favourable conditions, this hardy grass reaches a height of approx. 1.2 m and grows up to 1.2 m wide.
