Description
The Alpine clematis (Clematis alpina) is a creeping, climbing, deciduous plant with decorative, silvery-white fruits. It produces blue-violet, bell-shaped flowers from May to June. The Alpine clematis also has pinnate, medium green leaves. In a semi-shady to shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, loose soil, it usually reaches a height of around 3 metres and grows to a width of around 1.5 metres.
