The Purple clematis 'Carmencita' (Clematis viticella) is a climbing deciduous small shrub that produces dark red, bell-shaped flowers. They appear from June to October. The Purple clematis 'Carmencita' also has pinnate, medium green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady, wind-protected location with well-drained, humus-rich, loose, sandy, loamy soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 3.5 m and is approx. 1 m wide.
