Description
The Japanese clethra (Clethra barbinervis) is a garden plant that produces white flowers with a pleasant fragrance. They appear from July to September. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, acidic soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 3 m and grows to a width of approx. 2.5 m.
