Description
The Byzantine meadow saffron (Colchicum x byzantinum) produces attractive, pink, purple flowers from September to November. It prefers a well-drained, nutrient-rich soil in a sunny to semi-shady position. The plant usually reaches a height of 5 - 10 cm and grows up to 30 cm wide.
