Description
The Taro (Colocasia esculenta) is a very popular, deciduous tub plant. Its decorative flowers appear from June to August. The dark green leaves are heart-shaped. The location should be semi-shady if possible. A well-drained, lime-free and nutrient-rich soil is ideal. Under favourable conditions, the Taro reaches a height of approx. 80 cm and grows up to 1 m wide.
