The New Zealand cabbage palm 'Red Star' (Cordyline australis) is a very popular evergreen container plant. Its white flowers are tubular and appear from March to May. They exude a pleasant fragrance. The purple-red leaves are linear. The location should be as sunny as possible. Well-drained soil is ideal. In favourable conditions, the New Zealand cabbage palm 'Red Star' reaches a height of approx. 3 m and grows up to 1.5 m wide.

A shower with lukewarm water will remove dust and revitalise your favourite. A semi-shady spot without direct sunlight is best to prevent leaf damage. If necessary, the plant can also be repotted outdoors in spring, which saves cleaning work indoors.
