Description
The White dogwood 'Gouchaultii' (Cornus alba) is an upright, broad, large shrub with decorative, round fruits. It produces white flowers arranged in umbels from May to June. The White dogwood 'Gouchaultii' also has egg-shaped, medium green leaves with a yellow edge. In a sunny to semi-shady location with moist to wet soil, it usually reaches a height of around 4 metres and is around 2 metres wide.

Care
To maintain the intensive bark colouring in winter, all shoots older than three years are removed in spring before budding. If the entire shrub is old and withered, it is best to cut it back completely 10 to 20 cm above the ground.
