Description
The Hartriegel 'Nightfall' (Cornus alba) is an upright, broad small shrub with decorative, white, round fruits. It produces greenish-yellow flowers arranged in umbels from May to June. The Hartriegel 'Nightfall' also has egg-shaped, dark purple leaves. The dark green shoots are also an interesting sight. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, nutrient-rich, moist to wet, weakly acidic soil, it usually reaches a height of around 1.5 metres and grows to around 1.5 metres wide.
