Description
The Flowering dogwood 'Cherokee Sunset' (Cornus florida) is a spreading, broad, bushy, upright large shrub with decorative, oval fruits. It produces pink flowers from May to June. The Flowering dogwood 'Cherokee Sunset' also has lanceolate, green leaves with a light green edge. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, loose, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of around 6 metres and grows to around 6 metres wide.
