Description
The Flowering dogwood 'Red Pygmy' (Cornus florida) is a spreading, broad, compact large shrub with decorative, oval fruits. It produces pink flowers from April to May. The Flowering dogwood 'Red Pygmy' also has lanceolate, medium green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, loose, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of around 2 metres and grows to around 1.5 metres wide.
