Description
The Flowering dogwood 'Royal Red' (Cornus florida) is a large, multi-stemmed shrub with decorative fruits. This year it produces pink-coloured flowers from May to June. The red shoots are also an interesting sight. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, loose, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of around 6 metres and grows to a width of around 6 metres.
