Description
The Flowering dogwood 'Rubra' (Cornus florida) is a spreading, broad, large shrub with decorative, scarlet-red, oval fruits. It produces pink flowers from May to June. The Flowering dogwood 'Rubra' also has lanceolate, medium-green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, loose, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of around 6 metres and grows to around 6 metres wide.
