Description
The Kousa 'Big Apple' (Cornus kousa) is an upright, spreading, pyramidal large shrub with decorative, red, round fruits. It produces white flowers in June. The Kousa 'Big Apple' also has egg-shaped, dark green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, lime-free, sandy soil, it usually grows to a height of around 4 metres and is around 3 metres wide.
