Description
The Kousa 'Flower Tower' (Cornus kousa) is a slender, columnar garden plant with decorative, pinkish-red, round fruits. Before these appear, it produces white flowers from May to June. The Kousa 'Flower Tower' also has egg-shaped, dark green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shaded position with well-drained, humus-rich, lime-free, sandy soil, it usually reaches a height of around 4 m and spreads to around 1 m.

Leaves
The deciduous leaves of the Kousa 'Flower Tower's are dark green, ovate, opposite and wavy. They are about 8 - 9 cm in size. Kousa 'Flower Tower' turns a bright scarlet red in autumn.
