Description
The Kousa 'Madame Butterfly' (Cornus kousa) is an upright, spreading large shrub with decorative, round fruits. It produces white-pink flowers from May to June. The Kousa 'Madame Butterfly' also has egg-shaped, medium-green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, lime-free, sandy soil, it usually reaches a height of around 2.5 metres and grows to around 4 metres wide.
