Description
The Chinese dogwood 'Schmetterling' (Cornus kousa chinensis) is an upright, shrub-like, tight, large shrub with decorative, pink-red fruits. It produces creamy white flowers arranged in umbels in June. The Chinese dogwood 'Schmetterling' also has egg-shaped, medium-green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location with loose, acidic soil, it usually reaches a height of around 6 metres and is around 5 metres wide.
