Description
The Cornelian cherry 'Aurea' (Cornus mas) is a bushy, upright, broad shrub with decorative, red, oval fruits. These exude a light fragrance. It produces light yellow flowers arranged in umbels from March to April. The Cornelian cherry 'Aurea' also has egg-shaped, greenish-yellow leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, calcareous, loamy soil, it usually reaches a height of around 3 metres and grows to around 2 metres wide.
