Description
The Cornelian cherry 'Flava' (Cornus mas) is a bushy, upright, broad-spreading large shrub with decorative, golden-yellow, oval fruits. These give off a faint fragrance. Prior to this, from March to April, it produces pale yellow flowers arranged in umbels. The Cornelian cherry 'Flava' also bears egg-shaped, medium-green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shaded position with well-drained, humus-rich, calcareous, loamy soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 7 m and spreads to approx. 6 m.
