Description
The Cornelian cherry 'Golden Glory' (Cornus mas) is an upright, compact large shrub with decorative, red, oval fruits. These give off a faint fragrance. Before the fruits appear, from February to March, it produces golden-yellow flowers arranged in umbels. The Cornelian cherry 'Golden Glory' also bears egg-shaped, dark green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shaded position with well-drained, humus-rich, calcareous, loamy soil, it usually reaches a height of around 6 m and spreads to around 3.5 m.
