Description
The Veitch winter hazel 'Spring Purple' (Corylopsis sinensis) is an upright, loosely branched garden plant that produces pale yellow flowers arranged in clusters, which have a pleasant fragrance. They appear in April. The Veitch winter hazel 'Spring Purple' also has heart-shaped, medium-green leaves. Its red new growth is equally an interesting sight. Its bark is dark grey.
