Description
The corkscrew hazel (Corylus avellana) is a broad, umbrella-shaped shrub that produces yellow flowers arranged in catkins. They appear from February to March. Brown nuts emerge from these from September. The corkscrew hazel also has roundish, medium green leaves. Its bark is brown and smooth.
