Description
The Turkish hazel 'Te-Terra Red' (Corylus colurna) is a small conical tree with decorative, brown, round nuts. It produces greenish-yellow flowers arranged in catkins from February to March. The Turkish hazel 'Te-Terra Red' also bears roundish, red leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, calcareous, weakly acidic soil, it usually reaches a height of around 18 metres and grows to a width of around 12 metres.
