Description
The Cotoneaster (Cotoneaster microphyllus) is a creeping small tree that produces white flowers. They appear from May to June. These produce red fruits from October. The Cotoneaster also has egg-shaped, dark green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, nutrient-rich, sandy, loamy soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 80 cm and is approx. 1 m wide.

- To increase vigour and flowering, the plant should be cut back a hand's breadth above the ground every 3-5 years.
