Description
The Midland hawthorn 'Masekii' (Crataegus laevigata) is a sprawling large shrub that produces white flowers. They appear from May to June. These produce scarlet-red fruits from August. The Midland hawthorn 'Masekii' also has dark green, medium green leaves. Its bark is dark grey, flaking and scaly. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, nutrient-rich, loamy soil, it usually reaches a height of around 5 metres and grows to a width of around 4 metres.
