Description
The Midland hawthorn 'Plena' (Crataegus laevigata) is an irregular, branched large shrub that produces white flowers arranged in panicles, umbrella clusters. They appear from May to June. The Midland hawthorn 'Plena' also has shiny, leathery, egg-shaped, dark green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, nutrient-rich, loamy soil, it usually reaches a height of around 8 metres and grows to a width of around 6 metres.
