Description
The Dutch crocus (Crocus vernus) produces attractive, white, purple, yellow and blue, pleasantly fragrant flowers from February to March. It prefers a well-drained, nutrient-rich, sandy soil in a sunny to semi-shady position. The upright plant usually reaches a height of 10 - 15 cm and grows up to 5 cm wide.
