Description
The Japanese cedar 'Tomahawk' (Cryptomeria japonica) is a tree or shrub that grows in a bizarre, dwarf form and usually reaches a height of around 1 m. Its needle-like leaves are dark green in colour. This tree is highly frost-hardy. It prefers acidic, loamy soil in a sunny to semi-shaded position sheltered from the wind.
