Description
The Common quince 'Champion' (Cydonia oblonga) produces large, golden yellow fruits. They are pear-shaped and have an aromatic flavour. Well-drained, nutrient-rich soil and a sunny to semi-shady location create the ideal conditions for a high-yielding harvest from October. Its light pink flowers are a beautiful sight. With its upright and broad growth, Common quince 'Champion' grows to around 5 metres high and 6 metres wide.
