Description
The Common quince 'Konstantinopeler Apfelquitte' (Cydonia oblonga) produces golden yellow, large, medium-firm fruits. They are round or flat and have a sweet and sour flavour. Well-drained, nutrient-rich soil and a sunny to semi-shady location create the ideal conditions for a high-yielding harvest from October. Its light pink-coloured, pleasantly fragrant flowers are a beautiful sight. With its upright and broad habit, the Common quince 'Konstantinopeler Apfelquitte' grows to around 5 metres high and 6 metres wide.
