Description
The Common broom 'Goldfinch' (Cytisus scoparius) is an upright, branched, broad, dense shrub that produces multi-coloured, butterfly-shaped flowers with a pleasant fragrance. They appear from May to June. In a sunny location with humusy, sandy, acidic soil, it usually reaches a height of around 2 metres and grows to around 2 metres wide.
