Description
The Common broom 'Roter Favorit' (Cytisus scoparius) is an upright, branched small shrub that produces carmine-red, butterfly-shaped flowers with a pleasant fragrance. They appear from May to June. They produce black, pod-shaped fruits from September. They exude a pleasant fragrance. The Common broom 'Roter Favorit' also has lanceolate, dark green leaves. In a sunny location with humusy, sandy, acidic soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1.5 metres and grows to a width of approx. 1.5 metres.
