Description
The Irish heath (Daboecia x scotica) will brighten up any garden with its countless pink flowers. From June onwards, it will be a delight in flower beds as well as in containers on balconies or terraces.

Water regularly and allow the soil to dry out in the meantime.

Preferred location in a sunny to semi-shady, wind-protected position.

Daboecia x scotica thrives on all acidic, sandy, peaty and boggy soils.

Planting time
Container plants can be planted all year round, except when the soil is frozen and in summer heat (over 30°C).

Flower
The pink-coloured flowers appear from June to October.
