Description
The Broad-leaved marsh orchid (Dactylorhiza majalis) is an upright perennial that produces purple-red, lip-shaped flowers from May to June. Its lanceolate leaves are dark green. In a sunny location with humus-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 35 cm and is approx. 20 cm wide. The Broad-leaved marsh orchid is well tolerant of frost.
