Description
The Damson 'Merryweather' (Prunus domestica) produces dark blue fruits. They have a sweet and sour flavour. Well-drained, humus-rich, nutrient-rich soil and a sunny location create the ideal conditions for a high-yield harvest from August. Their white flowers are a beautiful sight. With its bushy, upright and broad growth, the Damson 'Merryweather' grows to around 6 metres high and 4 metres wide.
