Description
The Umbrella plant (Darmera peltata) is an upright, broad perennial with decorative, rounded, lobed, dark green leaves. It bears pink-coloured flowers from April to May. In a sunny to semi-shady location with nutrient-rich, loamy, moist to wet soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1 m and grows to a width of approx. 80 cm. The Umbrella plant is well tolerant of frost.
