Description
The Congested ice plant (Delosperma congestum) is a cushion-forming, carpet-like, winter-green perennial that forms yellow, radial, basket-shaped flowers from April to July. Its matt, thick-fleshed, lanceolate leaves are green. In a sunny location with well-drained, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 10 cm and grows to a width of approx. 20 cm. The Congested ice plant is well tolerant of frost.
