Description
Congested ice plant (Delosperma congestum) is a clump-forming, carpet-like, evergreen perennial that produces yellow, ray-shaped, basket-like flowers from April to July. Its matt, thick-fleshed, lanceolate leaves are green. In a sunny position with well-drained, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 10 cm and spreads to approx. 20 cm. The Congested ice plant is highly frost-hardy.
