Description
Delosperma (Delosperma sutherlandii) is a clump-forming, carpet-like, evergreen perennial that produces violet, ray-shaped, basket-like flowers from May to June. Its thick, fleshy, lanceolate leaves are grey-green. In a sunny position with well-drained, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 10 cm and spreads to approx. 25 cm. The Delosperma is highly frost-hardy.
