Description
The Delosperma (Delosperma sutherlandii) is a cushion-forming, carpet-like, winter-green perennial that forms purple, radial, basket-shaped flowers from May to June. Its thick, lanceolate leaves are grey-green. In a sunny location with well-drained, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 10 cm and grows to a width of approx. 25 cm. The Delosperma is well tolerant of frost.
