Description
With its medium green leaf colouring, Tufted hair grass 'Tardiflora' (Deschampsia cespitosa) is a decorative design element in the garden, which also stands out with its compact growth. The silvery panicles of flowers adorn this grass from summer onwards. It feels most at home in a semi-shady to shady location with well-drained, humus-rich soil. In favourable conditions, this hardy grass reaches a height of approx. 40 cm and grows up to 40 cm wide.
