Description
With its medium green leaf colouring, Tufted hair grass (Deschampsia cespitosa) is a decorative design element in the garden, which also stands out with its upright and clump-forming growth. The green flower panicles adorn this grass from summer onwards. It feels most at home in a semi-shady to shady location with well-drained, humus-rich soil. In favourable conditions, this hardy grass reaches a height of approx. 60 cm and grows up to 60 cm wide.
