The Deutzia 'Pride of Rochester' (Deutzia scabra) is an upright, dense shrub that produces white, funnel-shaped flowers arranged in panicles. They appear in June. The Deutzia 'Pride of Rochester' also has lanceolate, dark green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 3 metres and grows to a width of approx. 1.5 metres.
