Care
- Withered and yellow leaves must be plucked out regularly and old branches cut out. This encourages the growth of new flowers.
- Rock garden plants love loose, well-drained soil. However, as this substrate stores little water, the plants must be watered regularly for several weeks after planting, especially in dry conditions, until they are sufficiently rooted.
Flower
Dianthus amurensis forms fringed, pink-coloured flowers from May. These exude a pleasant fragrance.
