Description
The Sand pink (Dianthus arenarius) is a cushion-forming, winter-green perennial that produces white, fringed flowers with a pleasant fragrance from June to July. Its lanceolate leaves are dark green. In a sunny location with well-drained, loose, sandy soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 20 cm and is approx. 30 cm wide. The Sand pink is well tolerant of frost.
