Description
The Sweet William (Dianthus barbatus) is a bushy perennial that produces white, pink or red, wheel-shaped flowers with a pleasant fragrance from June to August. Its lanceolate leaves are medium green in colour. In a sunny location with well-drained, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 60 cm and is approx. 50 cm wide. The Sweet William is well tolerant of frost.
